Above are a few images of possible model references for this project. First thing that came to mind when I was set this project was, I want to model the master sword from legend of zelda! However, after considering the design, it wouldn't of been much of a challenge to make as it can appear as quite a basic design.. After finding all these reference images im beginning to lean more towards modeling a gun, particularity the laser rifle from fallout 3. I've always really liked the design of this weapon as it fits perfectly into the futuristic 70's themed post apocalyptic world, what i like most about it is how despite the fact that it looks like scrap of other guns slung together, it functions as a futuristic style laser firing weapon.
